i am a 6'0 white person with pretty good basketball skills and im a senior in high school going into the Navy. Could i make it to the NBA or is the NBA only a place for tall or short black people

If you were very good you would have been noticed by scouts or somebody like that by now.
not a chance. give up your dream, gotta be black to be good.
if u have the mentality and the will power than u can do whatever u want to do..the nba is not just for black people or australians..but for anyone with the skills and the heart for the game...
Nothing is impossible, just odd. I recomend you that you start play guard or something like that because even when you might be the tallest of your friends or group this will not be the case at NBA.
It's not a matter of race. You have to be better than "pretty good." You have to be the best player you have ever played with at every level. The odds of making the NBA are huge, and they aren't in your favor. You going into the Navy won't help. They will want people who will go tocollegeright away and produce on a NCAA Division I program (unless they are David Robinson or something). If you were getting a lot ofcollegescholarship offers, you might have a shot. Since you didn't mention that, I have to assume you are more likely to have a career in the Navy than playing hoops.
It's not about color, it's about your skills. There all a lot of white people in the NBA and they can ball!! So don't make it a color issue.
Probably not. Most people don't make it to the NBA regardless of color. Now that the talent pool is Global your dream is even harder.

Depends how you do in college. The best players in the nation going tocollegelook like they are pro bound but a lot of the time they are jsut bust. Just practice hard and play all out during the games and you might get attention. Navy is a big school, not known for basketball though, and well, at least it a known school.
